Holy moley, me oh my
You’re the apple of my eye
[Girl] I’ve never loved one like you
Man, oh man, you’re my best friend
I scream it to the nothingness
There ain’t nothing that I need
… home is wherever I’m with you.

What can be said about this song that hasn’t been said in the last year or so? It was my first experience of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros who have been a joy to watch and listen to over and over again and this track by far is still my favorite and initially what made me an advocate for this band.
The back and forth of the vocal parts, the somewhat cheesy but extremely adorable lyrics are memorable and as shown by the artwork, inspirational and illustrative to say the very least. I have seen a lot of lyrical art pieces based on this song and every one of them has been great, and probably due mostly to the fact that the song is just great.
I must have played this well over a hundred times in the first few weeks of listening to it and I cannot even tell you how many times now- never got old.
