So you know that moment… 

I was lucky enough to find another great foreign band covering a song by my all time favorite band [Smashing Pumpkins]. Honestly this version turned me back onto this song (please for the love of music don’t ever let Billy know I said this).

No matter what, credit and respect must be given when a song is covered perfectly- changing it up and taking it in another direction giving it a part of you and making it a part of yourself without taking away from it; paying tribute and not screwing it up or making it sound just “off”.

Perfect example: Paper Crows covering Smashing Pumpkins-Disarm

And another new band + a revamp for a great classic song. “Down Under” by Men at work gets Folk’d-ified by Barricades Rise.
