Flea (Michael Balzary) is best known as the bassist, co-founding member, and one of the composers of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who were just this year inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
This week, Flea is venturing down another hallway if you will releasing his first Solo EP entitled Helen Burns. It is a self proclaimed “weird and artsy” album, and in the theme of the Friday Free for All, is being offered in exchange for ANY PRICE you wish to donate to the effort.
What is the effort exactly?
All proceeds will go to the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, a non-profit music school!
We love anything to do with keeping the music alive.
